Dave Monger is a senior energy manager with eServices, LLC. His primary responsibilities include natural gas operations and client support. He joined eServices in March, 2007.
David began his energy career with Dominion Resources in 1999 as part of the Business Development group, which focused on greenfield siting of new power generation. From there he transferred to the Dominon Energy Clearinghouse to work as a Gas Scheduler in the operations group. David was responsible for wholesale and end-use scheduling on numerous Interstate and city gate pipeline systems in the Mid-Continent and Mid Atlantic regions.
After learning the mechanics of the physical gas market, David was promoted to Natural Gas Trader for the Dominion Energy Clearinghouse. In this role David was responsible for quoting out fixed price Nymex to end use customers, as well as managing a physical transport book in the Mid Continent of up to 500,000 dth’s daily.
David’s most recent experience prior to joining eServices, LLC came as a Senior Energy Manager for a private Energy Services company. As an energy consultant, he was directly responsible for the management of natural gas procurement and delivery for customers within the United States and Canada. David negotiated with supply companies and utilities on behalf of clients, ranging from small industrials to Fortune 500 companies with multiple sites.
David holds a Bachelor of Science from James Madison University and a Master of Science in Finance from Virginia Commonwealth University.
